One aspect that will strike visiting surfers is the almost total lack of localism, this steams partly from the friendliness inherent in small countries, but also the fact that in the West, around Nadi and Sigatoka many surfers in the water will either be surf guides, instructors or boat drivers who derive a living from surfing tourism. Many times the local surfer beside you in the lineup will be the guy that drove you there in his boat!

A second fact worth mentioning is that there are many more breaks waiting to be discovered in Fiji. Our country whilst is boasts world class waves such as Cloudbreak and Restaurants has so much more to offer, some breaks almost as good as the two aforementioned breaks and certainly much less crowded. So why restrict yourselves to just these two?
